The Watson Wedding

Mike & Eden’s wedding was the start of my monthly weddings. For those of you who don’t know, I only take on one wedding per month with a young family. The day started out at the Water Tower Inn in Sault Ste Marie, where the girls were getting ready. I really enjoyed getting to know this group of girls. They were adorable interacting with each other. We quickly moved to the ceremony where the boys were anxiously waiting for the big day to start. The ceremony was quick and to the point (my type of ceremony). As the images will show, Mike and Eden adore each other. The pre reception pictures took place at a local horse farm and let me tell you, it was a FREEZING cold day. Everyone braved the weather to get the shots.

The chic wedding continued at the Root River golf course. Being a natural light photographer, I thought this reception area was PERFECT! I only had to use my flash in the evening, once it was too dark outside. Anyone who is having a small wedding and looking for a location, this is the perfect spot! Mike & Eden, thank you for letting me capture your day. You both rocked my socks!

The Orlando Family

Any photographer knows that sometimes you get sick of using the same locations. So one day I went location shopping and came across this gem. It worked out so perfectly and now have two more upcoming sessions there. The Orlando family made the trip from Sault Ste Marie to Thessalon. Alicia and Tom are both teachers, as most of you may know and super sweet people. And their daughter A has spunk, as the pictures will show. I really could go on and on about how much fun I had at this session, but I’ll let the images speak for themselves. Can’t wait to see Little A’s faces at her smash the cake session.
